Candidate for Alderman
"Every resident deserves to be heard, every neighborhood deserves investment, and every family deserves the opportunity to thrive."
— Precious Joy Frasier
Precious Joy Frasier is a community advocate, entrepreneur, and nonprofit leader who believes every neighborhood deserves the same opportunities to thrive. As a candidate for Alderman of Chicago's 28th Ward, she is running with a simple belief: government should work for the people, neighborhoods should receive meaningful investment, and every child and family should have access to opportunity close to home.
Precious has dedicated herself to developing solutions that address the root causes of poverty, violence, educational inequity, and economic disinvestment. Rather than accepting the closure and abandonment of neighborhood institutions, she has worked to reimagine how these spaces can become engines of hope and opportunity.
Her vision includes transforming former public school buildings into vibrant community campuses that bring together education, workforce training, youth development, small business support, family services, affordable housing, and economic opportunity under one roof. One of her signature initiatives, the Goldblatt Girls Academy, represents her commitment to preparing the next generation of young women through leadership development, academic
excellence, career pathways, and life skills.
Precious believes public service should be measured by results, not politics. She is committed to transparent leadership, responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, and ensuring that residents have a genuine voice in the decisions affecting their neighborhoods.
As Alderman, Precious will focus on creating safer communities through prevention and opportunity, attracting and establishing new businesses and quality jobs to the West Side, supporting affordable housing while protecting longtime residents, investing in youth and workforce development, improving city services, and advocating for ethical, accountable government.
Her campaign is built on listening to residents, building partnerships, and creating lasting investments that strengthen families and restore confidence in local government. She believes the 28th Ward is filled with resilient people, untapped talent, and extraordinary potential, and with bold leadership and community collaboration, it can become one of Chicago's strongest and most vibrant communities.
Precious Frasier is not running simply to hold office. She is running to build a future where every resident of the 28th Ward has the opportunity to live in a safe neighborhood, access quality education, find meaningful employment, start a business, raise a family, and be proud to call the
West Side home.
Principles That
Guide My Leadership
Every decision I make will be guided by values, not politics. I believe leadership begins with integrity, earns trust through transparency, embraces innovative solutions, and remains resilient in the face of challenges. These principles are more than campaign promises, they are the foundation for building stronger neighborhoods, restoring confidence in local government, and creating lasting opportunities for every resident of the 28th Ward.
Integrity
Doing what's right, even when no one is watching.
I believe public office is a position of service, not privilege. Every decision should be made with honesty, accountability, and the best interests of our residents at heart.
Transparency
Open government. Honest communication. Real accountability.
Residents deserve to know how decisions are made, how resources are spent, and to have a meaningful voice in shaping the future of their community.
Innovation
Creating bold solutions for lasting change.
